JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Manages product development, drive for best cost.
• Maintains relationships with mills and vendors and drive for strategic conversation with them that able to impact our business
• Responsible for vendor sourcing and product development, sample order placement in efficient and effective manner
• Works with Technical, QA and VD to ensure all commercial decision and standards are up to our standard
• Monitor the vendor and COO penetration as to cope with aligned Network sourcing strategy
• Works with vendors on innovation / development.
• Execution of vendor sourcing strategy.
• Resolves issues in a timely manner while working to continuously improve and create internal and external processes and procedures

You might be a good fit if you have …

• A Bachelor’s degree or above in Textile / Clothing or related discipline
• Minimum of 15 years’ relevant working experience in kids, ladies’ fashion in woven & knit, fashion accessories categories, with at least 5 years in managerial position
• Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Well organized individual with strong problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet conflicting deadlines
• Self-motivated, responsive, result and detail-oriented professional; comfortable in communicating with stakeholders at different levels
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Occasional travel is required
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Merchandising Manager
