JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Responsible for API development, maintenance, implementation and deployment though an API management tool
• Assist in user requirement study, system analysis, design, and prepare documentation and conduct UAT
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Perform system testing/debugging and prepare system development documentation
• Work with our engineering team, utilizing agile best practice
• Monitor and measure the performance of the API management tool
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture

Requirement

• Degree in information technology/ information systems/ computer science or a related discipline
• 4 year’s or above working experiences in software development
• Proficient in handling JSON and REST API based integration
• Knowledge about API design standards, patterns and best-practices
• Good understanding of distributed web application and system design
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in API security standards and implementation (e.g. JWT)
• Solid experience in .NET core, Angular, JavaScript, SQL
• Knowledge in cloud technology such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Docker or Kubernetes is plus
• Good knowledge in micro service is in advance
• Good knowledge in BI is in advance
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline is preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including both Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Analyst Programmer
